Appointment Tips

Proactive Patient Role:

  • When scheduling your appointment, please communicate the things you expect during your visit. Certain procedures or health topics require differing  amount of time.  Annual Physicals take more time.
  • Reiterate to your provider your current medication list, and any allergies or past reactions to medications and / or supplements.
  • If awaiting test results, do not assume no news is good news.  Please call the office and touch base regarding test result status.
  • Feel free to voice any questions or concerns with your provider.  We are here to ensure you have the best possible treatment plan.
  • Bring an advocate, a trusted friend or relative with you to any appointment, but especially to appointments when you may feel stressed or overwhelmed.
  • If scheduled for surgery, please make sure everyone involved understands and knows your treatment plan.

Medication Management

Prescriptions, Supplements & Over-the-counter meds:

  • Please bring a current list to all appointments.  Include strength, dose & frequency.
  • Please list allergies & reactions to medications.
  • Don't assume your provider has knowledge about drugs prescribed outside of this clinic.
  • Please tell us your preferred pharmacy.
